Automatic and semi-automatic measurement of rubber hardness
Realizes stable, high-precision measurements that were not possible with human-powered measurements, which are subject to individual differences and interpretations.
Three major issues
Issue 1
Large variation
in measured values
among measurers.
In manual measurement, the measured value is not stable and varies greatly depending on the force applied by the measurer.
Issue 2
Thin and small parts cannot be measured.
Impossible to measure small rubber parts such as thin rubber sheets and O-rings after molding.
Issue 3
Time-consuming to record and analyze measurements.
Handwritten notes of measurements and keyboard input into the database are time-consuming and costly.

Entrance Advantages
Issue 1
Manual measurement results in large discrepancies in measured values.
・The rate of descent cannot be kept constant.
・The applied pressure (degree of force to push in) also varies from person to person, and cannot be standardized.
Issue of uneven measurement values.
Compliant with JIS and ISO standards.
Fully automatic type rubber hardness tester system.
POINT
01
Automation of measurements eliminates variation in measured values.
Fully automatic rubber hardness tester system conforming to JIS and ISO standards eliminates variation in values due to individual differences.
More stable and reproducible values can be obtained.
No matter who performs the measurement, no matter how many times it is repeated.
The measurement values are highly reproducible.
GX-610Ⅱ
GX-02
This system can faithfully measure the operating speed, measuring mass, and pressurized surface dimensions specified in JIS K 6253 "Vulcanized and thermoplastic rubbers - Determination of hardness".
Issue 2
Hardness measurement with a durometer requires adhesion of the pressurized surface to the sample to be measured.
- The sample must have a flat surface (Φ18 mm or more) of at least sufficient extent for the durometer to have a pressurized surface.
- According to JIS K 6253, the thickness of the rubber sample to be measured must be at least 6 mm.
Unmeasurable problems with thin and small parts that have been formed and machined.
IRHD(M-method) Hardness Tester System.
POINT
02
Thin rubber sheets and O-rings Small parts are also easily measured.
The only IRHD hardness tester produced in Japan that complies with the IRHD M method. Small and thin rubber products such as molded O-rings and packings can be easily measured as they are.
<Target samples to be measured.>
●Automobile parts, ●Electronic circuit parts, ●OA equipment parts, such as small parts after molding.
GX-700Ⅱ
Complies with ISO 48/JIS K 6253-2 IRHD M method for precise rubber parts measurement. The only IRHD hardness tester produced in Japan. So you can be assured of repair support and other services.
Issue 3
Recording and analyzing measurements is time consuming.
- The values measured by the durometer need to be written down by hand and then re-entered into the PC database.
Danger of erroneous data entry and falsification.
- It is difficult to prevent the occurrence of human error through education and training alone.
Wasted use of recording paper.
- Increased cost and waste of resources.
Issues with handwritten notes of measurements.
Measurement data PC importing software.
POINT
03
Improved operational efficiency, accurate data management, and paperless!
The "GX-700II" and "GX-02 Series" can import measurement data directly to a PC with the included software. Accurate data management and paperless operation can be expected to improve operational efficiency.
- Elimination of handwritten records of measured values.
- Support for Excel download of measured values.

"Test Time Mode"
In addition to peak values, measurement values at any timing (up to 2 settings possible) can be recorded automatically.
This allows for more accurate measurement, instead of the conventional "stopwatch" or "sensory" measurement timing.
